Launched Preferred Medical Marijuana Referrals, a doctor's office in Las Vegas with my mother Lisa Roth, alongside Completely Legal, my non-profit patient-owned medical marijuana cooperative. We flipped Las Vegas on its head by offering $80 doctor visits when everyone else was charging $300-$600+, creating a flood of patients and establishing a marijuana strip mall with the doctor's office and Completely Legal just doors apart.
This was the doctor's office that I launched with my mother Lisa Roth in Las Vegas alongside Completely Legal, my non-profit patient-owned medical marijuana cooperative out there that I founded. We kind of flipped Las Vegas on its head. It wasn't the first doctor's office, but when we got there, everybody was charging anywhere from $300 at the absolute lowest to $600 or more for a medical marijuana doctor's visit, and the industry was just in its infancy out there.
There was maybe 10 or 15 dispensaries, and they just weren't doing it right. So we came and did $80 doctor visits, which essentially all the other doctors weren't operating as much. There was just a flood of patients coming to us. We also did silly things like having sign twirlers out on major roads spinning signs that had cannabis leaves on it, big pink and white doctor's office signs, and boy oh boy did we get busy down there.
We had a whole little marijuana strip mall going where there was the doctor's office and then just a few doors down there was Completely Legal. Unfortunately, it didn't last as long as it should have due to powers outside of my control, but boy was it special while it was there.
